Greenfield 4th grade students had a very educational experience at CMRussell Museum! They then followed up their learning with an artistic hands-on lesson in painting in response to learning about Charlie Russell’s great contribution to the art world.





5th grade students learned how to play cribbage this week!




Outdoor learning at First People’s Buffalo Jump State Park. The third and fourth grade had an adventurous day with a hike to the top of the buffalo jump, traditional native games, and a scavenger hunt! What a great day for this learning opportunity! 🦬





Tonight is the Spring Concert! Greenfield students have been working hard, come see them at 7pm. If you have a student they need to be here by 6:45pm.

Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day!

Thanks to the Woodland family for the fruit tray. The teachers received fruit and chocolate delivered to their classrooms this morning by Mr. Lawson.

Some snapshots of the 4th grade field trip to Lewis &Clark Interpretive Center for a lesson on transportation and “building” our own dug-out canoes, and Giant Springs for an outdoor classroom lesson on Great Horned owls and owl pellets!







Greenfields annual track meet is fast approaching. We are still looking for volunteers, and people to help provide food for lunch. Below you will find the link for the meal train, if you are able to help please sign up!

Greenfield buses will not run today.
Be safe as you come to pick up your students at 3:30.

Greenfield, after further inspection of the roads, we will start late this morning due to driving conditions. Greenfield School will begin at 10am today. Please contact the office if your child is unable to make it to school.

Greenfield Family. Due to rough road conditions, the Greenfield buses will not run this morning. We will continue to assess the road conditions throughout the day. Be safe and take your time as you travel the dirt and gravel roads.

Welcome back from Easter break everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend and the nice weather. As we head into spring we have begun planning our annual track and field day, the date as of now is Friday, May 5th. We need volunteers for this day to help it run as smooth as possible. If you are available to help for the day please contact the office 406-467-2433 thank you!

Reminder for 7th/8th grade. There is a field trip tomorrow 4/05 to Fairfield School for a presentation. If you plan to have your child attend I do need a signed permission slip.

5th and 6th band, percussion ensemble, 7th & 8th band-- All working really hard to create great music. Mass band concert at 6pm tonight in the Power School gym, all are welcome!




Edits to April 4/3 will be 5th-8th attending mass band. 4/5, 7th & 8th graders will be attending CTE event in Fairfield.
